The Galaxy J6 was one of the many unannounced Galaxy device codenames and model numbers spotted in the leaked Galaxy Annotation eight Oreo firmware earlier this year. Since and then, the device has been spotted on benchmarking websites, at the Wi-Fi Alliance, and at the FCC, confirming its existence and impending launch. Now, indicating Samsung'due south preparations for the launch, support pages for the Galaxy J6 have been spotted on the company's website in India and Ukraine.
Galaxy J6 will sport an Infinity Brandish
The back up pages don't reveal anything about the Milky way J6, but we already know some of the details about the device from before leaks and certifications. The FCC documents revealed that the Galaxy J6 would sport an Infinity Display and run Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box (which was also confirmed by the Wi-Fi Brotherhood certification). While we cannot take benchmark listings at face value, co-ordinate to i of them, the Galaxy J6 will exist powered past an Exynos 7870 chipset and 2GB of RAM.
Samsung has been working to bring the Infinity Brandish to mid-range and budget devices. The Galaxy A8 and A8+ launched earlier this yr were the kickoff not-flagship Galaxy smartphones to sport Infinity Displays. Samsung continued the trend by bringing the Infinity Display to the cheaper Galaxy A6 and A6+, which are also rumored to launch as the Milky way J8 and J8+ in some markets. If that doesn't happen, so the Milky way J6 may be the offset Galaxy J series model to boast an Infinity Brandish. Still, given the cut-throat competition in the budget segment from Chinese OEMs, it is doubtful that an infinity Brandish alone will help Samsung in absorbing its downslide in central markets.
